Privacy Policy

In short

PhsarAI is a classifieds marketplace for Cambodia. We collect the minimum needed to let buyers reach sellers and to keep fake and illegal listings off the site.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We never publish your email address.

What we collect

Phone number — if you sign up with a phone number, or add one later. It is verified with a one-time code, either by SMS or through our Telegram bot. Buyers see it only on your own listings, and only after they tap to reveal it.

Telegram account — if you sign in with Telegram: your Telegram ID, username and profile picture. Telegram does not give us your phone number unless you share it with our bot yourself.

Google account — if you sign in with Gmail: your Google account ID, email address and profile picture. Your email is never shown publicly.

Display name — the name shown on your listings. You choose it and can change it.

Your listings — title, description, price, photos, province and district, and the item details you enter.

Messages — messages you send to buyers or sellers through PhsarAI.

IP address — recorded when you post a listing, when you reveal a seller’s phone number, and with each sign-in session.

Cookies — one cookie keeps you signed in for 60 days, and one remembers your language. Your saved listings are kept in your own browser, not on our servers.

Why we record IP addresses

Only to stop abuse. Revealing seller phone numbers is limited to 40 per IP address per hour, which makes it expensive to harvest numbers in bulk and sell them to cold callers. The IP recorded with a listing lets us trace a pattern of fake or illegal listings back to its source.

We do not use IP addresses to profile you, and we do not share them with advertisers.

How your phone number is protected

Your phone number is never written into the page a visitor downloads. A buyer must tap the contact button, which asks our server for it. A program that reads the page cannot collect the numbers of every seller on the site.

This is a barrier against bulk harvesting, not a secret: any real buyer can see the number immediately, without signing in.

AI processing

PhsarAI uses AI from Anthropic (the Claude models) in two places.

Writing your listing: the text you type and up to 4 of your photos are sent to Anthropic so the AI can suggest a title, price, location and specifications. You review and correct everything before it is published.

Checking photos: every photo on a real listing is sent to Anthropic to be scored for adult content, violence, weapons, drugs, wildlife products, identity documents and counterfeits. The AI only scores; the thresholds and the decision to block belong to PhsarAI, not to the AI.

Anthropic processes this content to return a result to us. We do not send them your phone number, your email or your messages.

Who else your data reaches

Vercel — hosts the website and stores uploaded photos.

Neon — provides the database. Your data is stored on servers in Singapore.

Anthropic — AI processing described above.

Telegram — if you use Telegram to sign in, to verify your phone number, or to receive a notification that someone messaged you.

Google — if you sign in with Gmail.

eSMS — sends the SMS one-time code, when SMS is used.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.

What is public and what is not

Public: your display name, your listings, their photos, and the province and district of the item.

Shown only when a buyer taps to reveal it: your phone number, or your Telegram username if you have no phone number on file.

Never public: your email address, your IP address, your messages, and your Google or Telegram account ID.

How long we keep it

Listings stay until you hide or delete them, or until PhsarAI removes them for breaking the rules.

Sign-in sessions expire after 60 days.

Phone-reveal records and moderation records are kept so we can investigate abuse, and are deleted when they are no longer needed for that.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your listings, your messages and your account details.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any of your listings at any time from your account page.

You can change your display name at any time.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to us using the contact below.

Children

PhsarAI is not intended for children. Do not create an account or post listings if you are under 18.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Keep using PhsarAI and you accept the updated policy.
